SPECIAL EDITION OF HOMAGE

Homage is a project between Greg Gorman, Gary Johns and the art collector Harald Falckenberg. The project focuses on the influence of African Tribal Art on European and American culture and aims to give something back - an homage - to African Tribal Art. It includes a very rare and beautiful series of photographs by Greg Gorman and from his own collection of Tribal Art, taken in his classic portrait style to honour. In Homage, Johns reinterprets his fellow artist and project partner's photographs to express a different approach to the project's aim of paying homage to Africa's influence on modern art.
