Things are less shrill with the painter Yannick Ackah, born in 1992 in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire. The Melbye-Konan Gallery from Hamburg dedicates its bunk to his expressive "poetry of existence," according to the artist's self-characterization, in which mental abysses flow, but also themes such as racism and the wounds of colonialism.
